Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.
— Warren Bennis

What is required of a Director:

  1. A genuine interest in Co-op issues and our community.

  2. A four-year commitment to the Board.

  3. A willingness to take responsibility for Board duties and work together with understanding, mutual support, and respect to make decisions that will enhance the viability of the Co-op.

I recognize that as a Director I will have a fiduciary responsibility to the owners to act in an informed and prudent manner, and that I may be held personally liable if I do not.

I recognize that as a Director I will have a duty to represent the owners at large and to act in their best interests (not those of any one faction thereof).

I qualify to serve as a Director, in that I am an owner in good standing.

As an applicant, I understand that I will undergo a background check.

Please note that board meetings are the 3rd Monday of each month at 5:30 – 7:30 P.M.

I understand that I should attend one (1) board meeting before the May election.

I understand that serving as a Director is a job which requires that I:

  1. Prepare for and attend Board and Owners Meetings regularly.

  2. Attend Board training sessions.

  3. Be willing to serve on committees.

  4. Become familiar with the Co-op’s Bylaws, policies and financial statements.

  5. Spend 4 - 8 hours each month attending to my responsibilities to the Board.

For the 2024 Elections, Application deadline extended to March 1, 2024.

A member of our Nominations Committee will be in touch after you submit this initial form of interest. Thank You!
